"Ash reflects the exhaustion of trying to fit into a world constructed by the gaze of others. The figure, covered by a disguise stitched with expectations and appearances, represents the masks we adopt to be accepted. Around it, the black holes symbolise those presences that absorb our energy each time we forget who we are to become what others expect to see. The work invites us to ask ourselves how much of our essence we are willing to sacrifice to belong and reminds us that true freedom begins when we drop the disguise and choose to live authentically."
